A peak flow meter is a small device used to measure how much air you can exhale. Peak flow meters are good for people who have moderate or severe asthma. Peak flow meters help you monitor how effective your current treatment is in treating the disease. A peak flow meter comes in handy especially when:

-Your asthma fluctuates.
-You have an asthma attack
-You are not sure what triggers your asthma.

Finding the right treatment for your child can sometimes be difficult. It is important to get a treatment plan for your child by consulting your child’s pediatrician and then sticking to it. Babies and small children need to get early treatment for asthma symptoms in order to prevent severe breathing problems.
